My life's turning point
When I was eleven years old, in fifth grade, I started wondering where I'd go to high school as my current school didn't have one. I don't remember the specifics of this decision, but I can clearly recall the conversation my mum and I had about this. I told her I wanted to apply to one of the UBA's schools and that implied taking extracurricular classes because the academic level was higher. At first she wasn't very convinced; however, she was very supportive of my decision.
I had to work very hard and sacrifice a few things, like get-together with friends. There were a some times were I regretted it and felt like I wouldn't make it. But in the end, my determination was stronger and I reached my goal. If I had taken a different path, I wouldn't have met my great group of friends and wouldn't be as prepared as I feel for the next stage: college.
